When someone else's happiness is yours - that is true love.
My brother and sister-in-law's happiness and love is more contagious than the common cold. I turn to both of them for guidance in relationships, business and life decisions, and I look up to them as role models in so many ways. They not only support one another with their personal goals, but they always seem to remember the important things like laughing, loving, and - most important - cooking. (Callie makes the best cinnamon rolls)
Of course this could all be an act, but if that's the case...I applaud you both. 5 Gold Stars.
When Callie asked if I could snap some photos of them and their Silver Lab puppy, Paige, I was ecstatic to give my camera lens such nice subjects. Much better than my fat cat it had been focusing on earlier that day. I found the perfect summer spot for a shoot, and we scheduled a time.
It was entirely too rewarding to capture precious moments like these. There tends to be a relatively short window between the wedding day and having children, so it is that much more vital to soak it all in and create memories as a two-person team. The next time life will be as simple and still as this will be the empty-nester era. Gasp!! No need to worry. That will just bring a married couple some more laugh-lines, ways to make fun of each other, and usually more wine. All good things!
I look forward to watching this family grow, and being there to freeze time for them with my photography. Love you both, God bless your wonderful family. Especially A-Cat.
